Anime Expeditions Payload Guide

Understand the Payload expedition loop: gather resources, build the base, complete objectives, and secure the reward.

Payload is the named Expedition experience introduced with EA+. It is not a normal “place units and wait” stage: the update describes gathering resources, building a base, completing objectives, and earning Expedition rewards. Treat the objective panel as the run leader.

Start by assigning one player to read objectives and call resource priorities. Build the minimum base pieces needed to survive, then shift spending toward the active Payload task. Keep one cheap opener for immediate waves, one area carry for crowds, control near the base or Payload, and boss damage for the final pressure point.

Team and reward checklist

  • Read party size, unlock and entry requirement.
  • Identify resource spawn, deposit point and base health.
  • Track which construction advances the objective.
  • Confirm the reward screen before repeating the route.

Mode questions

What is the objective in Payload?

The EA+ description confirms resource gathering, base building and objectives. The exact objective can rotate, so the current mission panel decides whether you escort, defend, deliver, or complete another marked task.

What rewards does Payload give?

It is an Expedition reward route, but the exact item pool and quantities must be read from the current preview and completion screen.

Mode rules, timers, scoring, and rewards can rotate. Read the current portal before spending entries or materials.
