This release tier list separates damage, support, and economy because one letter cannot fairly compare a boss carry with a buffer or farm unit. Rankings assume the named form shown, useful upgrades, and a trait that fits the kit. Toy Maker is the important exception: its placement limit makes the unit dramatically more dependent on Unbound than the rest of the list. Use the dedicated best DPS and best support indexes for role-specific comparisons, then turn the ranking into a playable team composition.

Why each S-tier carry works
- 8th Sword (Berserk): full-area damage and the highest documented damage ceiling in the current finding, with extra payoff from Hair Bells and critical equipment.
- Shadow (Divine): summon damage, enemy pushback, and a domain that strengthens Magical allies.
- Cursed Student (True Love): copied attacks scale from a nearby ally, while Bleed stacks create Spirit Bats.
- Puppet (Telekinetic): high damage plus damage amplification, summons, and enemy rewind.
- Elf Mage (Unleashed): Arcane follow-ups scale unusually well with critical chance and critical damage.
- Lady Giant (Envy): Giant form delivers the damage, and Primordial or faster equipment offsets the slower attack cycle.
Support tier list
Farm and beginner picks
Ramen Guy and Stone Alchemist are the named economy units. Ramen Guy is documented as generating battle money, but the exact income values and upgrade breakpoints are not yet consistently published. Use Investor only after the current unit panel confirms an income skill.
For a new account, Greed and Scissor are the recommended accessible damage picks. Scissor is also searched by the character name Riyo. Add a Legendary control or buffer, then replace slots by role as stronger units arrive.
Build-dependent movement
The same unit can move a tier when its defining condition is missing. Hollow drops when no one maintains Burn. Cursed Student loses Bat output without Bleed. The Hero loses value in a mostly Magical team. Reaper wants multiple placements and crit investment, so Unbound is not automatically its best roll.
Before treating a tier move as a reroll problem, compare the unit’s equipment matchup and placement requirements. A better item or lane overlap can fix a run without changing the ranking.

Is Toy Maker really A tier?
Only with Unbound in the current ranking. Its one-placement limit makes Unbound unusually valuable; without that trait, treat Toy Maker as B/C rather than a universal A-tier carry.
Why is Reaper not S tier?
Reaper has excellent crit scaling and can approach the border, but its base damage is lower than the S group and the build needs multiple placements, crit equipment, and Forsaken.
