Anime Expeditions Raids Guide

Check Anime Expeditions Raid unlocks, bosses and rewards safely, then build a repeatable boss team without relying on unverified drop tables.

Raids are worth farming only when the selected portal drops something you need and your team can clear it consistently. Public test reports describe Raids as the harder co-op route for evolution materials, tokens and character-related rewards, but a complete July 16 live Raid map, boss and percentage table has not been published by the developer.

This guide therefore keeps an honest Raid index: documented reward categories are filled in, while the named map, boss and per-Raid drop rows are visibly marked pending live capture. It will not borrow a drop table from another game. Once you identify the active portal, use the team composition guide, best support index and placement guide to prepare the run.

Current completeness: the mode, reported unlock and general reward categories can guide a player; the per-Raid map/boss/drop rows are not yet verified and remain pending an in-game portal capture. If the portal does not display a reward, do not assume it will drop or farm it based on an older test video. Take a screenshot of the live preview first, especially when the target is required for an evolution.

Raid readiness check

Failure signal
Fix before retrying
Opening
A low-cost unit holds while you save for the carry
Leaks before the main damage unit is online
Use a cheaper opener or upgrade it one step earlier.
Wave clear
Area damage removes normal enemies without using every slot
Small enemies consume all upgrades before the boss
Improve the main AoE position and coverage.
Boss damage
The carry, buffs and debuffs finish inside the timer
The route is safe but the boss survives
Replace low-impact AoE with focused or scaling damage.
Control
Slow, stagger or another effect works on the target
A control slot contributes nothing because of immunity
Read the enemy panel and bring a valid effect.
Economy
Farm income pays back before the dangerous waves
The farm unit delays survival upgrades
Reduce farm investment or remove the farm slot.
Consistency
The same plan clears repeatedly without a carry
Frequent losses erase the value of a higher reward
Farm a lower stable target until the bottleneck is solved.

A practical six-slot Raid team

  1. Affordable opener: protects the base without consuming the full early budget.
  2. Main area carry: handles waves and should cover a long section of the route.
  3. Boss carry: provides concentrated or scaling damage.
  4. Damage support: buffs the carry or amplifies damage taken by the boss.
  5. Valid control: slows or stalls only if the current enemy is not immune.
  6. Flex: farm, a second damage type, another boss unit or a required counter.

The best support unit is the one that improves meaningful upgraded damage. Place a buffer after the carry is online, and check that the aura actually reaches it. Duplicate support effects may not stack, so compare the unit panel before spending a slot.

Upgrade order for a repeatable clear

  • Place the minimum defense that survives the opening.
  • Put the main carry where it covers both the busy lane and the boss route.
  • Upgrade that carry until normal waves are stable.
  • Add farm only if its payback arrives before the first real damage check.
  • Add support when it affects a carry with enough upgrades to matter.
  • Save active abilities for the boss phase or the wave that ended the previous attempt.
  • Spread upgrades only after the main damage plan is complete.

Farm by recipe, not rumor

Open the unit’s Evolution panel and record every required material. Then open the Raid portal and match those names against Reward Preview. If the names do not match, leave the queue and find the correct source. This one check prevents hours of farming a generic Raid because a pre-release page called it an evolution-material mode.

Token payouts and character drops remain unverified until the current portal displays them. The dedicated Spirit City Raid guide separates the confirmed three-Act route and Act 1 Mastery equipment from fields that still need live capture.

Official Raid teaser

The official teaser confirms Raid combat. It does not replace the current portal for unlock level, boss, waves or rewards.

Raid FAQ

What level unlocks Raids?

Player level 25 is the consistent public test report. Treat it as a checkpoint, not a permanent guarantee, until your live portal shows the same lock requirement.

What bosses and maps are available?

A complete current list was not available in the official description or July 15 EA+ patch notes. Use the Raid selector and Stage Info, because boss names borrowed from another Roblox tower-defense game can send you to the wrong farm.

What do Raids drop?

Act 1 Mastery equipment is documented for Spirit City. The selected portal must confirm every other current item, currency, character reward, amount and rare-drop condition.

When do Raid rewards reset?

No permanent reset time was verified. Check the portal timer, Event Calendar and any Daily or Weekly Quest connected to the Raid. A quest reset is not automatically the same as a Raid reward reset.

Fact boundary reviewed July 18, 2026: Raid existence and boss-focused co-op are confirmed; level 25 and reward categories are public-test reports; current maps, bosses, percentages, attempts and resets require the live Raid panel.
