Flame Emperor (Reincarnate) is a B-tier Mythic damage unit that spreads Burn from one target to nearby enemies and creates fire-wall pressure. It is not the current raw-DPS leader, but it becomes valuable in a purpose-built fire team—especially beside Hollow, whose damage plan depends on Burn.

How to obtain and evolve Flame Emperor
Flame Emperor is a Mythic roster unit. Check the current banner Rates panel to see whether the base unit is in rotation and what odds the game displays. A complete verified evolution recipe for the Reincarnate form is not available in the current reference set, so do not copy the Sprite colors or Gold cost from Puppet, Elf Mage, or another evolution.
If your Evolution screen lists Flame Emperor, record the exclusive item and every material before farming. If your unit card already says Flame Emperor (Reincarnate), compare builds using that exact form.
How Burn spread works
Flame Emperor applies Burn and can spread it to the three nearest enemies. This is strongest when the first target stands in the center of a compact pack. A lone leading enemy can waste the spread because the next enemies may be outside the transfer condition.
The evolved attack pattern also creates a fire wall. Place around a bend or straight shared segment where enemies spend time inside that area. For testing, separate direct attack damage, Burn ticks, spread targets, and fire-wall ticks; the sheet number alone does not show the complete rotation.
Do not assume every red or fire-looking effect is the same Burn status. Use the live status icon to confirm that Hollow or Draconic can interact with it.
Best Trait for Flame Emperor
Draconic is the recommended fit because it improves Damage, strengthens damage-over-time, and reduces overall upgrade cost. That cost reduction matters on a unit that needs upgrades before its full fire pattern becomes useful. Primordial is the consistent all-purpose alternative, and Unbound is a premium keep if you roll it.
Avoid comparing DoT Traits using a single direct hit. Time the same boss window and include every Burn and fire-wall tick.
Best equipment
Emperor’s Attire drops from Rose Kingdom and rolls Damage plus Range. Its named Wildfire effect remains TBA in the current complete equipment data. The item is still a strong stat fit, but do not invent a spread count or multiplier for the undocumented passive.
Magic Orb is a useful Damage/Range alternative. Magic Book should only be used after the live card confirms Magical damage. Kunai can improve Damage and SPA when you need faster Burn application.
Best teammates and fire team
Hollow is the obvious specialist partner because its kit benefits from Burn uptime and transition timing. Salmon Sorcerer keeps enemies grouped and moving slowly enough for spread and fire-wall ticks. Puppet amplifies a durable target and rewinds the group through the fire zone. Add Forbidden Teacher only if Flame Emperor’s live card is Magical; otherwise use the matching buffer.
In a six-slot team, combine Flame Emperor, Hollow, one control unit, Puppet or another amplifier, a matching buffer, and economy or boss damage. If the mode is short, replace the slowest setup piece with a cheap opener.
Placement and best modes
Place Flame Emperor where it first attacks a cluster rather than the lone front enemy. A bend with a long exit segment helps the wall and Burn keep ticking. If Targeting controls are available, test whether a different priority produces more three-target spreads.
The unit is best in Story, Raids, and Tournament waves with groups healthy enough for DoT to tick. It can underperform in easy farming runs where direct damage kills enemies before Burn provides value. Boss performance improves when the fight includes adds or the fire wall stays under the boss.
Common mistakes
- Hitting a lone lead enemy and expecting a three-target spread into a distant pack.
- Counting direct hits but excluding Burn and wall damage from tests.
- Claiming a Wildfire multiplier while the equipment effect is still TBA.
- Using Magic Book without confirming the Magical icon.
- Publishing an unverified Reincarnate material recipe.
Quick answers
Is Flame Emperor worth building without Hollow?
Yes, especially for grouped Story waves. Hollow gives the fire status a second purpose, but Flame Emperor still supplies its own Burn spread and area pressure.
Why is Flame Emperor only B tier?
Current rankings compare general performance and investment with stronger S- and A-tier carries. Flame Emperor is more valuable inside a coordinated fire team than the overall letter alone suggests.
