Best Anime Expeditions Farming Units

Compare Anime Expeditions economy units, wave-clear farmers, Investor, and a practical rewards-per-minute farm team.

Anime Expeditions uses “farm unit” in two ways: an economy unit that produces battle money and a fast clearer that improves rewards per minute. Ramen Guy and Stone Alchemist are the two named economy picks in the launch roster. Their exact income tables are not yet consistently published, so this guide keeps confirmed roles separate from unverified numbers.

Best trait for a money unit

Investor has a 2% roll chance and increases income by 25%. It is the correct role match only when the selected unit’s own panel confirms an income ability. Investor does not turn a normal damage unit into an economy unit, and it should not replace a rare combat trait on a permanent carry.

Because Ramen Guy and Stone Alchemist still lack a fully published income table, confirm that Investor changes the displayed payout before committing a large reroll budget.

Economy or clear speed?

An economy slot is worthwhile when the extra money reaches an important carry upgrade earlier than a sixth attacker would. On very short stages, deployment cost and delayed repayment can make a farm unit slower. On long Story acts, Raids, or Infinite-style runs, repeated income has more time to pay back.

Compare both versions on the same stage:

  1. Record first placement time and first important carry upgrade.
  2. Record total clear time and whether any wave leaked.
  3. Include the farm unit’s deployment and upgrade spending.
  4. Repeat three runs so one lucky path does not decide the result.
  5. Keep the team with better reliable rewards per minute.

Practical farm team

Use one cheap opener, one economy unit, one broad wave-clear carry, one boss-capable carry, one control unit, and one flexible support. Remove the economy slot first if the stage ends before it repays its cost. Remove the support first only when the remaining units still reach the same upgrade breakpoints safely.

Common mistakes

  • Calling every fast clearer an income unit.
  • Equipping Investor before checking the unit’s own payout text.
  • Measuring only the reward screen and ignoring setup time.
  • Over-upgrading the farm unit after it already reaches its useful payout breakpoint.
  • Using an expensive Secret on a short stage when a cheap Legendary clears sooner.

Quick answers

Is Ramen Guy the best farm unit?

Ramen Guy is the clearest named wave-economy option, but the full income curve still needs a current panel comparison against Stone Alchemist.

Can a control unit improve farming?

Yes. A slightly slower theoretical team that never fails can produce more rewards per hour than a damage-only team that leaks fast enemies.

Farm roles checked July 16, 2026. Exact Ramen Guy and Stone Alchemist income values remain a live-panel verification item.
